Feed Your Face: Calorie Free

Beautify your skin from the outside in with no worries about calories or weight gain, just beautiful skin. What you put on your skin gets absorbed via your pores and into your body. Put some of your favorite healthy foods on your face and let them get to work on your skin. Some of the foods smell and taste so good you’ll want to eat them too so avoid licking your face.

Open up your fridge and kitchen cabinets and get to work concocting healthy skin potions. Then apply to face, turn off your phone and relax for 20 minutes. The relaxation is an added benefit for your skin! Then bring yourself back to reality by rinsing off with cold water.

ALMONDS

Grind up some almonds until they turn into a powder and use as a facial scrub to cleanse, exfoliate and moisturize.

APPLE CIDER VINEGAR

Apply as toner to face to remove dirt buildup and help make pores look smaller.

AVOCADOS

Blend some ripe avocados with a little avocado oil to super-dry or sun-burnt skin.

BAKING SODA

Mix a paste of baking soda and water and lightly scrub on face for a cost effective microdermabrasion.

BANANAS

Mash some overripe bananas into a paste and smother your face and neck in it.

CARROTS

Cut some carrots into small pieces, steam, cool, drain and mash into some coconut oil for a hydrating experience.

COCOA

Mix cocoa with a little oil and granulated sugar for a yummy scrub. The caffeine in the cocoa helps with skin firmness.

COCONUT OIL

Apply coconut oil direct from the jar all over face for major moisturizing.

CUCUMBERS

Slice up some cucumbers and apply to your closed eyes to reduce under eye circles. Mash up some of the meat of the cucumber and apply to face.

EGGS

Break an egg and use the white to tighten up pores and the whole egg for some great moisture.

HONEY

Spread honey all over your skin to absorb and retain moisture.

LEMON JUICE

Add freshly squeezed lemon juice to any mask or use alone to cleanse, brighten and tighten up pores.

OATS

Grind oats into a powder and mix with water for a moisturizing scrub or milk to make a sunburn feel better.

PARSLEY

Finely chop parsley and blend with oils and some granulated sugar. Lightly scrub on face and watch acne inflammation disappear.

YOGURT

Moisturize your skin with some plain yogurt or mix with a little oil and granulated sugar for a scrub.
